“We’ve been trying to do something like this for ages,” Ben Folds said. “After playing lots of individual gigs together, we’ve finally worked it out for Ben Folds, Ben Lee and Ben Kweller to tour Australia together for two weeks as ‘The Bens.'”

The shows will feature The Bens performing individually, backing each other on songs from their personal catalogues, as well as a trio, performing new songs recently co-written and recorded for a special tour-only EP. The four-song album will be sold exclusively on The Bens Rock Over Australia Tour.

“Our style could be described as ‘a new wave/indie/progressive/pseudo-Knopfler potpourri,'” Ben Lee said of The Bens’ sound.

The album and tour are a perfect amalgamation of The Bens’ individual as well as collective sounds and interests. All three musicians are known for catchy pop melodies and DIY approach to their careers.
