“Since before we were even signed, we took an active role in communicating with our fans,” drummer Rob Bourdon said. “And the purpose of the LP Underground is to maintain that relationship with them as we grow as a band.

“Our fans are the reason we can continue to play our music. The time we take to make ourselves available to our fans and the exclusive music we give on a special CD to the LP Underground, plus the special merchandise is our way of giving back.”

Here’s the deal: current fan club members get a crack at the seats on a first come, first served basis. Need we mention it’s free as well? Then, tickets will be opened up to the general public starting March 4.

The LP Underground consists of more than 25,000 members all over the world and is the fan’s inside ticket to everything Linkin Park. Members get exclusive Linkin Park merchandise and music, including an annual LP Underground CD, newsletter, and other goodies.

Linkin Park’s new album, Meteora, is due out March 25 – the same day the band will be playing Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre.
