Boston Take On Corporate America
Legendary rock band Boston is back. For the first time in six years, the group is hitting North American arenas and amphitheatres on a summer tour, which launches June 6.
The band is planning a 48-date tour and 41 of those shows have been confirmed. More are expected to be announced within the following week.
The outing comes as support for the band’s first album of new material since 1994’s Walk On. The disc – Corporate America – marks the group’s fifth album of fresh tunes and hits stores last November.
So, who does Boston comprise these days? Well, founding member /guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Tom Scholz and original lead singer Brad Delp are around. They’ll be joined by new members Kimberley Dahme (bass, vocals), Anthony Cosmo (guitar, backing vocals), Fran Cosmo (vocals, guitar), Gary Pihl (guitar, keys), and Jeff Neal (drums).
