The third annual outing sets sail over Labor Day weekend out of Tampa, Fla., for the Gulf of Mexico, with a host of bands at the ready to entertain all on board.

Mixing it up with the passengers are Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain, Cowboy Mouth, Pat McGee Band, Dexter Freebish, and The Dave Matthews Cover Band, as well as several up-and-comers including Angie Aparo, Ingram Hill, Kevn Kinney, Chrystina Lloree, and Francisco Vidal.

This trip marks Sister Hazel and Edwin McCain’s second time on the cruise. The two bands were aboard the second annual Rock Boat, which also saw many of the same artists on this year’s outing.

Fans on the cruise will begin each evening with a first-class dinner alongside the artists before heading to their pick of several intimate concerts. When artists aren’t performing, they’re free to jump on stage for impromptu collaborations, chill out by the pool, and play games with the passengers.

The Rock Boat cruise departs August 28 in Tampa and makes a stop in Cozumel before docking back in Tampa September 1. Tickets can only be bought at therockboat.com and the cruise has a tendency to fill up fast.
