John Mayer & Counting Crows
John Mayer and Counting Crows are indeed touring together this summer. Dates and venue information for the anticipated co-headlining tour have just been announced. The schedule finds the two artists taking to outdoor venues across the States from July 7 through the start of September.
The amphitheatre run fits nicely in right after the Crows return from their European festival run. They’re currently touring the Eastern states with Sixpence None The Richer and Blue Merle as openers on select dates.
John Mayer, on the other hand, has been chilling out a bit this year. After a crazy 2002, which saw him playing nearly 200 shows, the recent Grammy winner has mostly stayed off the road in 2003, with the exception of a handful of European shows in February. He’s slated for a couple festivals and a benefit gig around May.
On-sale dates have yet to be announced but, according to countingcrows.com, that information will be announced soon, with additional information on how to snap up some pre-sale tickets.
