Among the big names expected to perform during the weeklong event around Rochester, N.Y., clubs are Tony Bennett; George Benson; Al Jarreau; Dave Brubeck Quartet; Spyro Gyra; Medeski, Martin & Wood; California Guitar Trio; Stephane Wrembel Trio; Kevin Mahogany Trio; Mambo Kings; Prime Time Funk; Eastman Jazz; and many others.

“We’ve also booked several rising artists who will turn heads,” festival producer John Nugent said.

As for the international part of the title, Rochester is drawing acts from India, Finland, Iceland, Siberia, Chile and France, among others.

“We’ve worked hard to develop an innovative, diverse and comprehensive lineup that includes exceptional jazz and creative improvising artists from around the world,” Nugent said. “This festival will offer an outstanding opportunity for all music fans to hear celebrated favorites, international artists, rising stars and the best Rochester talent. It will definitely make Rochester a prime destination for music fans this summer.”

Tickets for the June 5-14 festival are already on sale. A Club Pass – available for $60 in advance – allows entrance (first come, first served) to any club pass venue, including 40 club performances at Montage Grill, Milestones, Max Of Eastman Place, Kilbourn Hall, The Crowne Plaza Hotel Big Tent, and State Street Bar & Grill. Other tickets range from $15 to $65 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster for most shows.
