The tour – the band’s first since 2000 – comes in support of their forthcoming album of the same name. The disc was to be released in May, but the date has been pushed to June 10 due to scheduling issues with their record company.

After a 20-year absence, Steely Dan burst back onto the music scene a couple of years ago with their first album of new work in as many years, Two Against Nature. In 2001, the disc won the group their first Grammy. In all, they were awarded album of the year, best pop album and best pop performance.

Now, Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are back with Everything Must Go and a whole bag of band members. The core band includes Keith Carlock (drums), Ted Baker (keys), Bill Charlap (keys), Jon Herington (guitar) and Hugh McCracken (guitar). Becker and Fagen, of course, handle the bass and vocals, respectively.
