Earth, Wind & Fire Deliver
Just before heading out, Earth, Wind & Fire will release their newest album, The Promise. The disc is the group’s first offering of new material in six years and is already getting significant airplay with the single “All In The Way.”
Their most recent releases have been “best of” and live compilations. Last year, they released Live In Rio and 1998 saw Greatest Hits. In The Name Of Love (1997) was the band’s most recent album of new material and saw them teaming up with Wyclef Jean.
“Throughout the years, music has changed quite a bit,” founder Maurice White said. “We’ve changed a bit too, but we’ve never sacrificed our credibility. Everything we’ve done has always been positive. All we want to do is uplift people through music.”
Earth, Wind & Fire are no strangers to the road. The band tours regularly, usually over the summer months.
