And that’s exactly the plan at the inaugural Mid-Atlantic Music Experience. The festival is taking over the site of the West Virginia State Fair in Lewisburg June 11-13 for a roots rockin’ good time.

Widespread Panic and moe. are playing both Saturday and Sunday, with the others filling in the gaps, although exactly what days the artists are playing on has yet to be announced. In addition to the many jamband acts, Rusted Root’s Jim Donovan is laying down a drumming and rhythm workshop.

The camping fest also features food and craft vendors, beer tents, activities and two stages of music that’ll carry on into the night.

Tickets are on sale now for $115 for three-day passes and $102 for two-day stubs. Prices are expected to increase, so the earlier you buy, the more you save.
