The only way to get in is to win the tickets either through the Metallica Fan Club or by listening to local radio stations which will, no doubt, drum up some zany competitions to give them away.

Just a few weeks after the free gigs, Metallica are staging three Paris shows, all to be held on June 11. The plan is for the band to start at 1:00 p.m. at La Boule Noire, then move to Le Bataclan at 6:00. They’ll wrap the day at Le Trabendo around 10 that night.

Incidentally, the Parisian shows are the same day Metallica’s new album, St. Anger, hits shelves. The band is in Europe from June 6-28 and then back in the States starting July 4 for their Summer Sanitarium package tour.
