Train’s latest, My Private Nation, is scheduled to drop June 3 – just days before the band kick starts their summer tour with a gig on the “Today Show” Summer Concert Series. They then head back across the States to work their way from California back East, playing a variety of venues along the way.

It’s been a few months since Train have made headlines. They were most recently on the road late last summer on the Jeep World Outside Festival tour. After that, the guys holed themselves up in the studio to work on the followup to their smash hit album, Drops Of Jupiter.

“We’re very proud of how far we’ve come as a band,” lead singer Pat Monahan said. “With My Private Nation, we feel like we’ve really expanded our palette and fulfilled our artistic vision.”

Monahan also told Billboard that the band is “really ready to get it (the album) out. I’ve enjoyed this time with my family, but I’m ready to go.”
