Titled Shania Twain UP! Live In Chicago, the show will be filmed for airing on NBC sometime in August.

“I’m so looking forward to coming back to the States to play a full concert,” Twain said. “Playing live in front of the fans is what I enjoy the most. Chicago totally rocked the last time I played there and I can’t think of a better place to play my first U.S. live concert in two-and-a-half years. We’re going to have a blast, Chicago!”

Tickets for the show can be obtained locally in Chicago by listening to 99.5FM or reading The Chicago Tribune, where, presumably, there will be instructions on how to get your hot little hands on some free ducats.

Although it’s been a couple of years since Twain last played North American stages, she’s hardly been kicking back. Last November, she released the album UP! and soon set out on a worldwide promotional tour of the States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Japan.
