Joining the Amsterdams are a bevy of support acts. Matt Pond PA appears on most of the first two weeks (save for the Toronto show), and Jesse Malin picks up a couple of weeks in the middle. Rocky Votolato appear for the whole of the tour, while Dios is on board for the last bit.

These days, The New Amsterdams just have Matthew Pryor as the permanent member. But it wasn’t like that a few years ago when they started. At that time, Jake Cardwell (drums), Alex Brahl (guitar), and fellow Kid Robert Pope (bass) rounded out the set.

Worse For The Wear is The New Amsterdams’ third album and finds Pryor introducing his fans to a “hearty and warm Americana album brewing with impeccable loving lyrics.” Although the band lacks set members, brothers Robert and Ryan Pope make a return as instrumentalists on the disc, which is set to hit shelves at the beginning of August.
