Seth Yacovone Band Tours Onward
A couple of gigs are already lined up for September, October, and November as well. Three shows in September – 12, 19 and 20 – are CD release parties for the band’s new live album. The disc is their fifth.
Although they’ve been around since 1995, it wasn’t until Yacovone was invited to play a Phish show a few years later that the band really saw their name break into the buzz circles. Phish have a way of doing that for a band.
While best known in and around New England, the Seth Yacovone Band have honed their touring skills, playing with artists including North Mississippi All Stars, Addison Groove Project, Pork Tornado, and the Derek Trucks Band.
Their association with Phish continues to this day. Phish lyricist Tom Marshall recently signed an exclusive management contract with the Seth Yacovone Band. Last year saw the release of their first work under Marshall’s guidance, Standing On The Sound.
