The band just finished up a string of Northeastern and Canadian shows, after having had to cancel a good part of their spring tour when drummer John Davis suffered a broken foot in April.

The group did manage to play a healthy amount of shows before Davis’ accident, including a March tour of Japan.

This fall’s outing kicks off September 5 at home in Washington, D.C., and will continue at a frenzied pace until October 20, when they’re scheduled to wrap in Chicago. Labelmates Black Eyes are scheduled to open all shows, with El Guapo, French Toast, and Antelope also helping out here and there.

Q And Not U’s latest album, Different Damage, was released last fall on Dischord Records. According to their official site, they recently ducked into Dischord founder Ian Mackaye’s Inner Ear Studios and banged out a couple tunes to be released as a 7″ and CD single, hopefully in time for the fall tour.
