“With her tremendous talent, reputation and spirit, we are very excited that Gloria Estefan chose Caesars Palace as the place to launch her first English language album in six years,” Caesars Palace President Mark Juliano said.

And Estefan is launching her new album, Unwrapped, with a bang. The shows – which feature an explosion of costumes, music and dance – are choreographed by film and TV director Kenny Ortega, who is responsible for little-known titles including “Dirty Dancing” and “Ally McBeal.”

It’s going on five years since Estefan last toured. Her most recent outing was in 1997 when she embarked on a nearly sold-out arena outing. In the time between, she did a couple of radio shows and settled a court case against an alleged stalker.

Tickets for the Caesars Palace series go on sale July 21 through Ticketmaster and are priced at $87.50 on up to $175. Room and show packages are also available through caesars.com.
