Currently on the tour with Busta Rhymes, Sean Paul, Fabolous, Bonecrusher, Chingy, and Obie Trice, 50 Cent will hit music halls and arenas in Europe for three weeks starting September 14.

It’ll be 50’s first-ever outing in the U.K. and Ireland on his own. He previously played one date with Eminem on the Anger Management Tour.

The U.K. dates come sandwiched between shows on the continent, which include four shows in Germany.

A relative unknown, 50 Cent burst onto the music scene earlier this year when his debut, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, hit the charts at No. 1 and stayed there for some time.

Part of 50 Cent’s fame is due to his ties to Jam Master Jay’s shooting in October 2002. His subsequent jailing for gun possession on New Year’s Eve only added to his notoriety – and made the fans hungry for his album. Of course, it helped that Eminem won the bidding war and signed 50 Cent to his label.

Now, 50 Cent is a sought-after collaborator and hip new name to throw around. He recently recorded with Mary J. Blige and has already begun work on a follow-up to Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, said to be released in February or March. He’s also launched his own clothing line, G-Unit Clothing Company.

G-Unit is more than just a clothing name, though. It’s also the name of 50’s crew. The group – 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck – are set to release their self-titled debut in November.
