“I think there’s nothing more fun and exhilarating than your own crowd in an indoor setting that’s there to see you, you know what I mean?” guitarist Adam Gaynor told Launch.

“When you’re doing your own show, they’re there for you and they’re, like, giving you 100 percent like you’re giving them – and that’s just the greatest feeling.”

Matchbox have inked in another round of North American shows, this time for the fall season. For now, it looks like they’ll kick things off September 24 in Florida.

More shows are expected to be added to the itinerary, which includes five shows in Canada at the moment.

Maroon5 once again join as support. The funky new group opened matchbox’s previous U.S. shows this year, along with Sugar Ray and American Hi-Fi.

Before hitting American venues, the band have a few weeks left on their European tour.

In addition to doing well at box offices worldwide, matchbox twenty are banking it on the charts. The second single from More Than You Think You Are, “Unwell,” has been at No. 1 on the adult top 40 for an impressive 16 weeks.
