Boy George is taking over Zentra Nightclub in Chicago for the evening in a rare DJ set.

The artist has a few additional DJ dates on the schedule, with a strictly West Coast lineup, save the Halloween show.

Following those, he’ll take to Broadway for the U.S. production of his hit show, “Taboo.” The biographical show chronicles the artist’s ascent from George O’Dowd to Boy George, as well as the music scene in London in the ‘80s.

As Boy George fans know, the man doesn’t tour too often anymore. POLLSTAR’s records indicate the last time he took to the road as a solo artist was back in 1995.

However, he’s been fairly active with his former band, Culture Club. Since the group’s reunion in 1998, they’ve put on a couple tours, the most recent being in 2000.
