Duff, whose debut album, Metamorphosis, hit the charts running at No. 1 shortly after it was released a few weeks ago, is getting set for the theatre circuit around the States. Initial dates have her launching the tour in Arizona November 17.

According to her Web site, Duff plans to add more dates in December, but for now the schedule runs through the end of November.

The actress-turned-singer told VH1 last month that she was in the process of practicing for her first big outing. “I just finished doing a movie and I’ve been rehearsing with my band every night after work,” she said.

Oh yeah. In between getting ready for a tour, Duff was filming a movie. She appears in “Cheaper By The Dozen” with Steve Martin – slated for a Christmas release – and in “The Cinderella Story,” which is due out next year.
