“Most of us live in Southern California and we’ve been on tour watching all this devastation on TV from 3,000 miles away, trying to figure out what we could do to help,” lead singer Wes Scantlin said.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Salvation Army, which has a fund set up specifically to help the people of the San Diego area who have been affected by the fires.

“We at Verizon Wireless are grieved at the losses created by the fires and stand committed with Puddle Of Mudd in their efforts to help aid fire victims,” Gree Yacovone of Verizon Wireless said.

The band continues on their intimate club tour through the end of November. They’ve been out supporting their upcoming sophomore disc, Life On Display, which is due out on November 25.
