Josh Groban Woos North America
Josh Groban has found the best way to kick off 2004 – he’s embarking on his first-ever solo, headlining tour. The young opera star will woo and wow audiences in North American theatres from January 22 through April 23.
Up until the tour, fans can catch Groban all over the TV. He’s out doing promotional spots for his new album, Closer, which was just released.
The disc is a followup to his self-titled debut of 2001, which spawned the hit single “To Where You Are.” Closer features 13 new songs, including three ones Groban penned himself.
“I knew I would be touring with this album, and I want these songs to sound as good on stage as they do in the studio,” Groban said.
Joshgroban.com is offering presale tickets for the tour. Beginning November 13 and ending the next day, tickets will be up for grabs ahead of the general onsale. Also available to Friends Of Josh Groban are pre-presale tickets, starting November 11.
