Now the four lads are embarking on a headlining tour, which will take them across North America as well as their native U.K.

They’ll start their engines February 23 in Vancouver, B.C., and then hit most major cities from San Francisco to New York over the next month. The 10-date U.K. tour begins April 17, and takes them from Edinburgh all the way down to London’s Shepherds Bush Empire – their largest venue yet.

The band has developed a reputation for its stage scenery, including large stuffed animals and assorted foliage. However, the DIY nature of its set design has been known to backfire. Just before a show last fall, bassist Hamilton fell out of a tree, spraining his wrist, when he accidentally sawed off the branch he was sitting on.
