Media giant Clear Channel Entertainment will promote and produce the tour, which promises to include plenty of hits from the band’s three-decade-plus career, as well as material from the new album.

In addition to the standard major cities, this year’s outing will make stops in several secondary markets. A two-week Japan tour will reportedly follow the North American outing in July, although dates are still strictly TBA.

The band’s new tour comes on the heels of their co-headlining bill with KISS, which landed in Pollstar‘s top ten highest-grossing tours for 2003. In true road warrior style, Aerosmith has been touring steadily since 2001.
