With only one day off out of three solid weeks, the Teasers don’t aim to dilly-dally. The itinerary includes a two-night stand at San Francisco’s Hemlock, but other than that they won’t be staying in any one place for too long.

The tour wraps February 3 at Chicago’s Empty Bottle.

Although the band formed in Scotland in the early ’90s, its members have now spread to various corners of Europe and the globe, with bandleader Ben Wallers stationed in London. Despite the long-distance relationship, however, the bandmembers got together as a whole to record their latest offering, Secret Weapon Revealed At Last.

The record is the Teasers’ first studio album for L.A.-based In The Red Records, who also released their 2002 rarities collection, Science Hat Artistic Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire.
