The tour includes a double-night stand at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club.

N.E.R.D – the side project of production duo the Neptunes, aka Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo – released its debut, In Search Of …, in 2002, and promptly followed with a largely sold-out headlining tour. They’ve also appeared on the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour two summers in a row.

The Black Eyed Peas released their third album, Elephunk, last summer, and promoted it with a slot on the Justin Timberlake/Christina Aguilera tour, in addition to various headlining gigs.

Before trotting off this spring, both groups are set to perform at the Rock The Vote Awards at the Hollywood Palladium February 7. The next night, they head to the Grammys, where Williams is nominated for six awards and the Peas’ “Where Is The Love” (with Justin Timberlake) is up for best rap/sung collaboration.
