It’s been a few months since we’ve heard from
The Vines. Don’t worry, they didn’t drop off the face of the earth – they just slipped back down to the other side of it for a while. Now they’ve got a new album ready for release, and they’re heading back up to North America for a spring tour, co-billed with
Jet.
The trek begins in Houston March 11 with The Living End and Neon supporting. Neon drops off March 28, but the Vines and Jet will continue with fellow Aussies The Living End and possibly another support act. They’ll be on the road until April 14, when they finish off in Vancouver.
For their part, Jet is already off to a busy start this year. After Australia’s Big Day Out festival, it’s straight to Japan and Europe, where they’ll tour until early March – taking only one day off before heading Stateside with The Vines.
The Vines’ new album, Winning Days, drops March 23. Jet released their full-length debut, Get Born, last fall on Elektra.
