The band recently completed its second studio album for 4AD, after years of releasing countless full-lengths, EPs, singles, and compilation appearances on a variety of indie labels. Most of those early recordings were done with a studio setup consisting solely of a boombox.

On We Shall All Be Healed, released this month, chief Goat John Darnielle’s ever-evolving cast of musicians consists of Peter Hughes (bass), Franklin Bruno (piano and organ), Christopher McGuire (drums) and Nora Danielson (violins). No word on who will be coming along on the tour, but it’s a safe bet that some similar amalgamation will appear onstage.

Alaska! and Manishevitz, among others, will be opening selected shows.
