Beginning March 11 in Charlotte, N.C., the tour will hit 41 cities, with multiple gigs in Uncasville, Conn., Boulder, Colo., and Las Vegas. The man known as “America’s Foremost Commentator on Everything” won’t stop until June 20, when the tour wraps at the Spreckels Theatre in San Diego.

The “Daily Show” regular boasts a Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre and has written more than 40 plays. He recently released the tour’s namesake CD, The Rules Of Enragement, on Comedy Central, along with a DVD entitled “Lewis Black: Unleashed.”

Last year, Black spent a lot of time on the road co-headlining a tour with fellow Comedy Central staple Dave Attell. The pair sold out theatres across the country.
