Coheed And Cambria
Emocore act Coheed And Cambria are all over the map this year. The youngsters recently released their sophomore album, In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3, and they’re currently making the North American rounds with A.F.I. and Thursday.
Once that tour shuts down, they’ll do a headlining stint in March and April, covering mostly eastern and northern areas of the U.S., with a couple of shows in Canada.
From there it’s on to the Vans Warped Tour, which kicks off June 25 in Houston at the Reliant Center. The Coheed crew will stay on board for the entire trek, wrapping up August 19 in Brockton, Mass.
Like just about every other up-and-coming/fairly established act, they’ll be appearing at the South by Southwest conference this spring in Austin. They take their turn March 20, fittingly, at Emo’s.
Bonus fun fact: The band’s original name was Shabutie.
