She’ll be debuting songs from her upcoming sophomore album, Under My Skin, slated for a May 25 release. Each concert will feature three new tunes along with three older selections, all played in acoustic form by Lavigne and guitarist/co-songwriter Evan Taubenfeld.

According to a press release, Lavigne and Taubenfeld will surface at malls near Milwaukee (March 5), Chicago (8), Detroit (9), Boston (16), New York (17), Philadelphia (18), Washington, D.C. (19), Atlanta (22), Cincinnati (23), Cleveland (24), Indianapolis (25), St. Louis (26), Seattle (April 7), Portland, Ore. (8), San Francisco (9), Los Angeles (12), Phoenix (13), Denver (14), Houston (15) and Dallas (15).

Specific locations will be announced 48 hours before each event at aol.com/cityguide, with radio and press helping to spread the word. Fans can also sign up at avrillavigne.net to receive e-mail and/or phone messages revealing the locations.

Lavigne’s first album, Let Go, has sold a mindblowing 14 million copies since its 2002 release.
