The official kickoff date for the U.S. tour is June 22, when they’ll rock the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J. They’ll cover as much of the lower 48 as they can over the next several months, with some Canada dates thrown in for good measure. The tour is scheduled to wrap October 11 in Richmond, Va.

Incubus was formed in 1991 in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley by Brandon Boyd (vocals/percussion), Mike Einziger (guitars), Dirk Lance (born Alex Katunich, bass), Jose Pasillas (drums), and Chris Kilmore (turntables), when all of the above were 10th-grade classmates.

They released their debut album in 1995 and two years later found themselves with a major label deal. A relentless touring schedule – including stints with Ozzfest, Lollapalooza and Moby’s Area:One – and a steady evolution in the band’s style have helped Incubus develop into one of alt-metal’s shining stars.

Lance was replaced in 2003 by Ben Kenney, just in time to record their fifth studio full-length, A Crow Left Of The Murder. The album was released in February and has been earning rave reviews for its mature, developed sound and politically minded lyrics.
