From May 26 to June 12, she’ll do a co-headlining stint with Aaron Neville, including three dates at the Westbury Music Fair in New York. The historic Westbury is famed for its theatre-in-the-round and revolving stage.

Shortly before the tour kicks off, Ronstadt will drop her first studio recording since her 2002 Christmas album. Verve Records will release the disc, which sees her rekindling her fondness for jazz standards. It reportedly differs from her ’80s output with arranger Nelson Riddle in that she eschewed a full orchestra, preferring to work with only six or seven instruments per song.

She last appeared with tourmate Neville on his 2003 Verve release, Nature Boy, dueting with the singer on “The Very Thought Of You.”
