The Curse Of Blondie
Original new wave chart-toppers Blondie are returning to the stage in a major way this year, sporting a setlist packed with classic faves as well as plenty of brand new material. As previously announced, they’ll spend most of June and some of July in the U.K. Now they’ve added a sizable North American leg for April and May, along with some new Euro dates.
The Stateside trek begins April 16 in West Hollywood and stretches through May 16, when they wrap at Addison, Texas’ Arts and Music Fest. Starting June 2, they’ll tour the U.K. for the whole month, with more dates set for July. The Netherlands, Spain and Monaco are also on the summer itinerary.
The band’s new album, The Curse Of Blondie, will be released April 6 on Sanctuary. The first single, “Good Boys,” is currently making the club rounds. The Curse follows their 1999 reunion album, No Exit. Blondie spent the latter half of 2003 touring Australia, Europe and the U.S. on the Phasm 8 tour.
