They’re set to headline the June 12 in Manchester, Tenn., then follow up with five shows in a row at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. They plan to keep on rockin’ through August 19, when they play the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre in Atlanta.

The Dead consist of Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Jeff Chimenti, Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring. They’ve been pushing on under their new configuration since retiring the Grateful Dead moniker in the wake of bandleader Jerry Garcia’s 1995 passing. They performed under the name The Other Ones before switching to The Dead.

All dates except Bonnaroo will feature an opening solo acoustic set by either Haynes or Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. Their July 3 show at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash., will feature special guests The Allman Brothers Band.
