This spring, she’s embarking on a North American tour, beginning April 30 in Chicago and running through May 19, when she plays The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Following the U.S. jaunt, she’ll head back to Europe, where she played a few weeks of shows in March. Gigs in Portugal, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K. are on the books for June and July.

Folklore was released by DreamWorks in November of last year. On April 4, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences showed its appreciation with a Juno Award for the single “Powerless (Say What You Want).” Furtado performed at the awards ceremony along with fellow winners Nickelback and Sarah McLachlan.

She has also made recent appearances at the NBA All-Star Game, the NFL Super Bowl Concert Series, Berlin’s ECHO Awards, and a whole slew of morning and late-night television shows.
