Punk Voter’s stated goal is to “educate, register and mobilize progressive voters,” uniting fans, bands, labels and industry folks to effect societal change. Toward this end, a bevy of bands are taking the Rock Against Bush slogan on the road on several tours.

NOFX, Alkaline Trio, Authority Zero, and Jello Biafra kicked things off with a March / April run. They’ve got one show left, on April 24 in Las Vegas. The same day, Lunachicks and The Butchies will play the Naral Benefit at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club.

The Bouncing Souls and Avail will be on the road under the Punk Voter / Rock Against Bush banner through early May, with the Strike Anywhere and tour stretching a couple weeks longer.

Both tours stick mostly to the East Coast, Midwest and surrounding regions.
