Facing The Music
The Only Goodbye Tour will kick off August 13 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and hit both coasts and plenty in between, including Canada, before wrapping September 19 in West Hollywood.
The band announced it was breaking up last November after its stint on the Vans Warped Tour. Singer/guitarist Trever Keith stated at the time, “We’ve said what we had to say.”
Instead of calling it quits on the spot, though, the band has decided to stage one last hurrah for the fans.
“As much fun as we had on the Warped Tour last summer, we don’t feel like we had a chance to say goodbye properly to the people who have supported us for so long. Now we can,” said Keith, who will be joined by bassist Scott Shiflett and drummer Pete Parada.
Face to face released six albums over its 12-year career, most recently 2002’s How To Ruin Everything. A retrospective CD and DVD are in the works for release on Keith’s label, Sound On Sound.
