Lloyd’s Language
Lloyd Cole has booked a series of West Coast gigs in support of his latest album, Music In A Foreign Language.
The singer/songwriter, who got his start as the founder of The Commotions, will hit Colorado, Washington, Oregon and California on the trek.
Dates run from June 18-26, with no word on whether he’ll explore more of the continent. One October date in London is on the books.
The singer recently signed with Bjork’s One Little Indian label and secured the North American release of three recent albums. Along with Music In A Foreign Language, which was released overseas last July, 2001’s Etc. and Plastic Wood are finally available for Stateside fans.
