Mann Oh Mann
The dates are rolling in for Aimee Mann. The singer/songwriter has a string of shows lined up across the country in June, and a pair of August gigs are also on the books.
She’s currently supporting her fourth solo effort, Lost In Space. The 2002 album was re-released this spring in a limited special edition, which features book-bound packaging, additional artwork, and a second disc with 10 new tracks and a video.
Mann got her start with the new-wave group Til Tuesday, and embarked on a solo career in 1993. She quickly gained praise from the likes of Elvis Costello and Andy Partridge, and her profile got a considerable boost in 1999 when director Paul Thomas-Anderson featured her songs prominently in his film “Magnolia.”
