The 20-city trek will begin in Taree at Manning Entertainment Centre July 15 and stretch through September 11, when she’ll wrap in Canberra. The tour is the biggest yet for the 27-year-old country rocker.

The singer learned her musical craft from her parents, who raised her in the Australian countryside for the first nine years of her life. The family would spend most of the year living a nomadic camping life, playing music around the fire in the evenings.

She spent her teenage years touring with her parents and brother as the Dead Ringer Band, and launched a solo career in the late ’90s.

Chambers’ family is never far away, though. Wayward Angel, like her two previous full-length albums, was produced by her brother, Nash, who accompanies her on tour. Also along for the ride are her father, Bill, who plays bass in her band, and her mother, Diane, who sells merchandise.
