Lynn’s tour is currently scheduled to resume July 17 in Branson, Mo., with dates stretching into December.

The famed coal miner’s daughter is supporting her new album, Van Lear Rose. The album was produced by the White Stripes‘ Jack White and has garnered critical praise for its fresh, stripped-down sound and the quality of the 13 compositions, all written by Lynn herself with the exception of one collaboration with White.

White came to Lynn’s attention when the White Stripes dedicated their 2001 hit album White Blood Cells to her. The group also released a cover of the Lynn tune “Rated X” – a longtime staple of Stripes’ live sets – as a B-side.
