The two bands are co-headlining a tour with opening act The Thrills beginning July 16th in Vancouver, B.C. The shows run concurrent with the huge festival tour. Since The Polyphonic Spree, Gomez and The Thrills all perform on the second night of Lolla in each city, the bands were able to put together an 11-date theatre tour. (The Thrills are on the bill through July 12th).

Gomez and The Spree will also join The String Cheese Incident for one show, July 24th, at the Hobby Center in Houston.

The tours will see a new Polyphonic Spree, as the band plan to turn in their trademark white garb for vibrant Technicolor robes. Band leader Tim DeLaughter said of the change, “We’ve earned our colors.”
