Through the whole month of July and early August, Sevendust will focus their aggression on the eastern half of the continent delivering angst-ridden rock with fellow metal-heads Travisty Theory (July 27-29 and August 4-7), Skindred (July 27-August 7), and Nonpoint (July 28-August 7).

The three bands kicked off their opening bash of metal July 8 in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., at the House of Blues and will continue their way down through Florida and Louisiana rockin’ up clubs and venues along the way.

Headbangers in Latrobe, Pa., will get a chance to mosh to the Dusters July 21 when they play the Rolling Rock Town Fair with fellow rockers Staind and Disturbed. Also appearing are N.E.R.D., The Crystal Method, Finger Eleven and others.

From there, the band will play a handful of shows in early August, finishing up October 8 in Huntington, W.Va., at the Harris Riverfront Park.

Sevendust’s latest release – Southside Double-Wind: Acoustic Live – in May, came after a special acoustic tour in 2003 where the band left the amps at home to capture a sensitive side of their usual heavy sound.
