The 22 new dates run from August 19 to October 10, and will again feature opening acts the Warren Brothers and Big & Rich.

The upcoming road trip has been renamed Tim McGraw & the Dancehall Doctors Fall Tour 2004 because the shows will be moving from outdoor amphitheatres to indoor arenas. It supports his ninth album, Live Like You Were Dying, which hits stores August 24.

A few more dates may be added to the itinerary, according to the superstar’s people, butthe tour will wrap up prior to the debut of McGraw’s first major motion picture, “Friday Night Lights,” scheduled to be in theaters on October 15.
