The hard rockers had to call off shows in Cleveland and Cincinnati August 11 and 12 when Lander was hospitalized for severe dehydration and exhaustion. She was released and Kittie had expected to resume their tour schedule.

Unfortunately, Lander is still too ill to tour. She has returned home to Canada and has been readmitted to the hospital.

According to the band, Lander will “undergo more extensive examinations to determine the exact nature of her illness.

“The tests in Cleveland were inconclusive; while as in yesterday’s [August 12] report she appeared to be recuperating it is now clear that that is not the case.”

The canceled dates are expected to be rescheduled on the next leg of the tour in the fall.

Kittie had a dozen headlining shows and some festival appearances on their calendar.
