The trio heads to the U.K. after a short stint in Japan. During their British visit, they’ll be making stops at the Leeds Festival in Bramham Park on August 27 and the Reading Festival on the 29th.

From there, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool will head back to the States where their dates are set to start September 16.

In honor of their new Warner Bros. release, American Idiot, the band has announced that they will play their album live in its entirety on club dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Toronto. The new record will be released on September 21, the same day as the NYC gig at Irving Plaza.

Their next scheduled appearance will be at the Voodoo Mucic Experience in New Orleans October 16, where they share the bill with the Beastie Boys, the Pixies, Sonic Youth, The Killers and many more.

According to Green Day’s Web site, New Found Glory and Sugarcult will be joining the party on upcoming fall dates.
