The band will perform three shows in Australia mid-September before joining up with Warped Tour comrades New Found Glory September 26-28 for shows in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, Japan.

Joining Yellowcard on selected dates of the U.S. trek are Taking Back Sunday and The Starting Line, beginning at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., October 8.

Yellowcard has been bringing its violin-infused rock and crafted lyrics to the masses since 2000, and its 2003 Capital Records debut, Ocean Avenue, has passed the 1 million mark in sales.

When frontman Ryan Key talked to Pollstar earlier this year about the band’s success, he had this to say:

“We’ve had a great opportunity to kind of break from the mold and do what we really had a passion for, which was making music together. We don’t feel we’re even close to what we can accomplish with our music.”

The U.S. tour will wind through major cities in October and November before wrapping at the Hollywood Paladium in California November 28.
