The group recently played an early December radio show festival in San Francisco, which featured the likes of Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand and Muse. Needless to say, that show was sold out.

The foursome recently announced another round of dates scheduled to begin in Tokyo January 25. For now, the band only has two Japan gigs on the books before heading to the U.S. for a handful of shows in February.

Following their arrival to the States, Interpol is scheduled to visit folks in Ohio, Kansas, Colorado, Idaho, Washington and Oregon before heading to the U.K., Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Those shows will have the band touring Europe well into April.

In July/August, Interpol embarked on The Cure’s 24-date Curiosa 2004 North American tour, which had the guys traveling with The Rapture, Mogwai, Muse, Cooper Temple Clause, Auf Der Maur, Cursive, Head Automatica, and Thursday.

A couple months later, the group toured the U.S. with the support of Secret Machines and On!Air!Library! Those shows sold out in nearly every venue they visited, including two nights each at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
