New Yorker Theatre Renamed

The New Yorker Theatre in Toronto, Canada, will be renamed Panasonic Theatre under a naming rights deal between Panasonic Canada Inc. and Clear Channel Entertainment.

Although the amount of the deal wasn’t released, it is rumored to be worth $3.2 million over 10 years, according to the Toronto Star.

The venue is undergoing renovation with the help of $12.2 million from CCE.

Blue Man Group is slated to open the state-of-the art venue in June.
